LESSON 8a:  Arrays

Mass Curriculum Standards:

Standard 1: Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and applications as well as an understanding of concepts underlying hardware, software, and connectivity.

.

Standard 2: Demonstrate responsible use of technology and an understanding of ethics and safety issues in using electronic media.

Math Standards

Number Sense/Discrete Mathematics: programs deal with differing number types and bases as well as their finite representation in RAM.

Objectives:

· Students learn about single and multidimensional arrays.

· Up to date students will continue to build their own C++ library

Learning Experience

• A short lecture – I will go over Hour 15 on Arrays in Sam’s Teach Yourself C++ in 24 hours
• Students will continue their work on the C++ String libraries

Students will be Assessed on

• Their ability to successfully understand and code arrays.
