LESSON 7a:  Overloading Functions and Function Templates

Mass Curriculum Standards:

Standard 1: Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and applications as well as an understanding of concepts underlying hardware, software, and connectivity.

Standard 2: Demonstrate responsible use of technology and an understanding of ethics and safety issues in using electronic media.

Math Standards

Number Sense/Discrete Mathematics: programs deal with differing number types and bases as well as their finite representation in RAM.

Objectives:

· The student will learn about overloading functions in  OO languages.

· Students will learn how to design and code overloaded functions.

· The student continue to praces pass-by-reference arguments.
