Vicki Gold Computer Programming Classes and Private Tutoring

My mission is to teach programming to students of all ages and competencies in an interesting and fun manner. Programming is not a difficult skill to acquire, and in fact, it is fun and easy to learn. I do not expect all my students to become computer programmers although some may; but that each student will learn how to create, not just consume, the Digital Media that will dominate, and shape their future lives.

I offer the combined skills of a current high school computer-programming teacher, along with 20 years of industry experience as a software engineer. I’ve been trained as an Instructional Technologist at Harvard University, and I have a Master’s in Computer Science from SUNY at Binghamton. Working as a teacher has brought a refreshed vision and vigor as to the importance of technology. Although, I have never forgotten the wonders and Magic of how I felt when I first looked at a computer screen. This Magic of Technology has been my inspiration for helping young students reach for the Magic in their live.
